New York Wedding

Amanda + Archie had a DAM good wedding! Seriously though, how cool is this park with a huge dam behind it? So thankful that Lance and I were able to make the trek to New York for our dear friends’ intimate little wedding day. Their original date was 10.10, and although they postponed the big ⁣gathering to next year, they knew they couldn’t let that perfect day slide, especially since they got engaged on 5.5 last year!⁣

About Their Wedding Day

They got married in Valhalla, New York in their backyard with 18 guests and a first look at the local Kensico Dam Plaza/Park. This day was full of intimate moments and they really took advantage of the time of year. October is the perfect time to incorporate seasonal accouterments such as pumpkins! They had pumpkin beer, pumpkins around their chuppa, and mini pumpkins as centerpieces for the tables.

Personalization

The couple put lots of effort into making this day super personalized since they had such a small gathering. One of the many perks of doing so! Everything from the masks to the napkin rings we personalized which gave the entire day a bit of extra magic.

Overall, this New York wedding day was extremely special and I was so grateful to have been a part of it. With Maine being my home base, I am very comfortable and familiar with its many destinations.
