Mountain House on Sunday River Wedding

Janie & Marty were joined by their closest friends for their Mountain House on Sunday River wedding this summer. “Your presence is summoned on a quest to matrimony…” was how their invitation suite began, and so I knew this was going to be a fun one!

The ceremony included wedding bands that they created themselves at a workshop and a sword crafted just for the wedding, which was forged to replicate Aragorn’s sword in Lord of the rings. I know, I know, the coolest.

This wedding day resonated with me so much. Because weddings don’t always need to look like expected guest lists, formal toasts, and all the things that are drilled into couples’ heads that need to happen. I say this all the time, but your wedding day can be anything you want it to be. Janie & Marty proved just that!
