This Portsmouth Engagement Photography session in downtown Portsmouth was so much fun! We explored the charming downtown area of Portsmouth, NH and found all the cozy beautiful little nooks for Courtney + Andrew to snuggle in! These two may be the most giggly couple I’ve ever worked with, and there was no shortage of smiles during our time together. They were down to explore, walk the city with me, and run in slow motion in front of random people without hesitation. With their wedding in Boston, they knew they wanted to keep an urban feel to their engagement photos. Some couples choose this route to keep a cohesive feel. However, some couples choose to go completely opposite and choose a forest engagement with a city wedding or vice versa. I encourage couples’ creativity with location choices and love all the places they’ve taken me!
My favorite part of this engagement was the public flower garden park we ended up at. It was so colorful, and perfectly matched the energy that Courtney + Andrew radiated. Prescott Park was a great way to incorporate some natural color into the urban environment we were in. I always try to choose locations that host a variety of backdrops so my clients get a lot of variety in their galleries.
