As many of you may know, my photography philosophy centers around magical, whimsical love. Which made this styled shoot inspired by the stars, a dream come true. That’s without mentioning the venue, The Greenery. They provided us with a blank backdrop to create a moody and celestial wedding shoot. What’s not to absolutely love?

Wish Upon A Star

The shoot was dreamed up by Rachel of Odyssey Event Designs whose goal is to bring her clients’ dreams to life, “no matter how far fetched or elaborate their ideas may be, these are the challenges I thrive on.”

To bring Kassidi and Kyeana’s dream to life we went with blacks, purples, and touches of yellow to mimic the stars. These colors made their way into everything you see, from the stunning floral arrangements to the signage and invitations designed by Hemlock Ridge, every detail was made to mimic the beauty of the night sky. 

One of my favorite parts was XO Bakery’s cake which positively blew me away. A tiny galaxy on a dessert was such a cool way to touch on the theme. 

As for the best part…Kassidi and Kyeana, who had recently gotten married in Maine. They brought the most important magic to the shoot. From Kassidi’s black suit to Kyeana’s starry dress and golden crown, the couple positively radiated love and their shoot was a beauty to behold. 

As precious as a shooting star!
