About Eric and Laura

The lovely Eric and Laura, met in college on the rowing team. As big fans of outdoor adventures and as two people who spent summers in New England surrounded by lakes and mountains, The Preserve at Chocorua, a beautiful mountain getaway in New Hampshire, was the perfect place to celebrate their wedding. 

The Vision

The couple incorporated soft blues, forest greens, and warm whites as their wedding colors which matched the blue sky that set the backdrop for us. (Take a look at the photos to see all of the beautiful green touches like the plants adorning the reception tables, the greenery wrapping around the elegant, white cake, and the soft, beautiful green of the bridesmaid dresses.)

Special Guests

From the first look in front of Chocorua Lake, where they shared a sweet moment of quietness before the festivities began to the stunning wooden barn where guests danced the night away, the wedding was a pleasure to photograph. We were even visited by a special guest who made his way all the way from the forests of New Hampshire… 

A small moose appeared during the reception in the field behind the preserve! A very cool surprise for everyone, especially those who had never seen a moose before!

If the moose wasn’t a sign in of itself of this couple’s fairytale love, the support the couple received surely was – extended family came from all over the US to New England to celebrate with the couple. You could feel the love surrounding the pair as they were greeted with hugs and smiles at every turn.
