Barn at Flanagan Farm Wedding | Buxton, Maine

Last winter I had the opportunity of photographing a Flanagan Farm Wedding styled shoot, led by Darling Photography and Lani Toscano Designs. The Barn at Flanagan Farm is located in my town of Buxton, Maine. Flanagan Farm weddings are ALWAYS gorgeous. The property is perfect and the house is exquisite- light colored rooms and sweet touches that personalize your day. And then there’s the barn. The barn is charmingly rustic, with lots of light and room to dine and dance the night away. It really is one of the best Maine wedding venues to photograph at.

The ability to shoot in the elements (snow) is so essential when photographing a Maine wedding, so this day was great practice. It was actually a blizzard by the end of the evening, with inches and inches of snow covering our cars, creating a winter wonderland for the couple. Flanagan Farms’ cozy barn, lit with candles and warm lighting was the perfect contrast to the weather. It made this chilly day more snuggly than freezing.
