This beautifully intimate and foggy Ferry Beach Engagement session with Lauren + Matthew was a blast to capture. Fog lends itself to a certain romantic feel, especially in Maine, and this backdrop was just perfect for these two to get snuggly, especially with their sweet dog! Lauren + Matt met when they were both working at Hannaford in high school. As much as I wanted to their engagements in a grocery store, I don’t think Hannaford would allow their pup to accompany them. Therefore, the couple and their dog, Harley, met me at Barreled Souls Brewing for a pre-session beer where we got to know each other and the plans for their wedding day next year at Thompson Inn.

As we approached the beach, I could see the fog rolling in and got a little nervous that our beachy vibes would disappear into the mist. Boy was I wrong. The weather created a dreamy little clouded area around us and as the sun came out everything became saturated and warm. Check it out below!
